A Note about Doing Business in Washington
Washington DC is the issue capital of the nation. The issues – from health care to corporate governance to terrorism to product safety (and the list goes on) often involve interaction with Congress, the White House or regulatory agencies.

This requires the engagement of lobbyists who provide highly specialized expertise. They often are professionally organized by subject and their strengths are based on the government positions they have held, which translates into an understanding of how the system works and specific contacts they are able to make on behalf of clients.

Because of the highly divergent nature of what clients may require for their lobbying needs, we have refrained from creating formal ties to any one lobbying firm as a partner. Rather, we maintain strong ties to many lobbying firms and law firms we know and trust.
